As you all might know our upcoming show at Bordello is being presented by the always awesome and informative website, Kitsune Noir. We decided it might be cool to put together a little mix tape for them to give away to all who wants to listen.
Tickets HERE for Saturday night’s show with Robotanists. You should check them out.
This round we have:
Time and Space Machine doing “This Little Night”.
In Flagranti doing “Falling Out of Place”.
Peter Visti doing “Gave It Up”.
There is also a new version of “Gave It Up” with newly recorded vocals. It’s up on our myspace page. Peep.
It’s being released DIGITALLY. So check itunes, juno.uk, turntable lab, etc on May 12.
In the meantime, the first two EPs are out.
Our cover of Tom’s Diner is out on itunes! It’s part of a CD benefitting Aids Project LA called Uncovering A Cure. It has a lot of great LA bands doing covers of their favorite songs. The proceeds go to a good cause, so please support.
The original (which was actually a remix by DNA) was a big influence on me. Back when it first came out, it was one of the first records I could remember that mixed a hip hop break with a warm female vocal. merging styles and creating something unique. it didn’t fit into a genre, but it didn’t matter, because it was so dope.
here is the link to purchase our cover. BAM
Another awesome thing about ”Tom’s Diner” is the fact that the actual place she is writing about in the song is the coffee shop used for the exterior shot on Seinfeld.
We recorded a cover of “Tom’s Diner” that will be released March 30 as part of the Aids Project LA benefit album, Uncovering A Cure. You’ll be able to find it on Itunes and other digital outlets.
If you want to check out all the songs now, click on this link. BAM!
That same night, we’re performing at the album release party at The Roxy in Hollywood. It’s a great cause, so if you’re in LA come out and support.
